Why Are Businesses Choosing Private Jet Charters in 2021?

As states and cities open back up for in-person business, work, and meetings, as well as larger events like conferences, there have also been a large uptick in travel, both local and national. This is, of course, to be expected, as last year was the year of Zoom calls, remote learning, and very little travel – especially for business.

But what is in store for the second half of 2021? Much of the same? Many researchers think the opposite and that 2021 will see an increase in private flight alongside commercial.

Let’s see a few reasons why the Vault Aviation team thinks this research is spot on.

Why Will Businesses Choose Private Jet Charters in 2021?

1. Rollover Travel Budgets from Last Year

Most medium-to-large companies and corporations have a travel budget, whether this is for conferences or meetings across the state or country. These budgets may be for their C-Suite executives or employees who are presenting their work at a symposium.

However, these travel budgets went largely unused last year. This means many companies not only have to make up some of those travel hours due to contracts or keeping clients happy, but they also have the funds and travel budgets to double up their travel.

Other companies have mandatory training for new-hire management positions, but again, many of those were pushed back last year. This means that even managers who have been with the company for a year may find themselves flying out to a ‘new-hire training’ per their contract or the protocols of the company.

This makes private jet charters a big option for companies in the latter half of 2021, as it allows for greater flexibility and a better bottom line than partial or full ownership.

2. Employee Appreciation

Last year was difficult for every worker in America, but that didn’t mean work stopped. Many employees had to adapt, swivel, and put in extra hours, along with the difficulties inherent in a pandemic, in order to help their businesses or departments weather the storms of 2020.

And this did not go unnoticed.

Whether it is a ‘yearly trip’ that got postponed and is now doubled or a bonus for a hard year of work, many businesses want to give perks to their employees and management who stuck around and kept them afloat, even in times of uncertainty.

What is a better perk and a better way of saying ‘we appreciate you’ than upgrading a normal trip or travel to a private jet charter! Many companies set goals and incentives for sales or performance of branches, and a private jet charter with your whole team to an event, a vacation, or even a paid conference for continued education or awards is a great way to say ‘thank you.’

3. Safety & Ease

Finally, one of the largest reasons that businesses are choosing private jet charters over other air travel is for the safety and ease it allows.

All of the aircraft that Vault Aviation charters are required to be piloted by two highly experienced pilots: a Pilot-In-Command (PIC) and Second-In-Command (SIC). Additionally, Vault Aviation also references Wyvern Safety Ratings as an additional layer of safety.

Wyvern allows secondary audits to be performed on all operators, aircraft, and pilots that we use. This “PASS” report details everything from pilot hours to medical certifications, and the following information is included in every “PASS” report:

  • Verification that a charter operator holds a current Air Operating Certificate
  • Verification that the aircraft being chartered is listed on the air carrier’s Operations Specifications
  • Confirmation of current insurance for the aircraft
  • Confirmation that each crew member’s experience meets a specific safety standard
  • Confirmation that each crew member’s medical and license information is current
  • Confirmation that the operator has Civil Aviation Authority approval for international operations at chosen locations

Not only do our private jet charters have more stringent safety protocols than most commercial airliners, to begin with, but they are also far less crowded and, therefore, less likely to spread COVID among the passengers in the airport by waiting in lines or touching public spaces.

And as for ease of travel – there is a reason why almost anyone would rather travel on a private jet charter than a commercial airline, even in business or first class. You get to skip all the lines and wait, you have more space, and you get to share the space with those you know, not 200+ strangers.

Of course, private jet charters are luxurious and desired, but their flexibility, safety, and ease are quickly topping the list of private flight benefits for many business travelers.

How Much Does It Cost to Own a Private Jet?

Even if you are a first-class frequent flyer, you may still find yourself more frustrated than fulfilled lately when it comes to travel. With lines, delays, cancellations, waiting, more delays, and crowds – even flying first or business class is less than ideal.

Of course, there are private flight options, such as partial ownership, private jet charters or private jet cards, and – full ownership. But how much does it cost to own a private jet? And is it the right choice for you? Let’s explore your options!

How Much Does a Private Jet Cost – Initially?

Depending on size, range, model, and features, a private jet can cost anywhere from a measly $2 million all the way up to and past $150 million! Unfortunately, much like cars, boats, and other travel machines, private jets depreciate very quickly, and steeply.

How Much Does a Private Jet Cost – Yearly?

The ongoing expenses can include flight crew salaries and expenses, fuel, routine maintenance, unforeseen repairs, hangar rentals, insurance, and more. And, like the price of a private jet, this cost can vary greatly depending on usage, size, and preferences.

In general, whole ownership and the associated fees and maintenance can run you anywhere from $700,000 to $4 million per year.

Here are a few factors in determining what your ongoing costs may be:

How Often Do You Fly?

If you spend over 450 hours in the sky every year, then owning a private jet might be a good idea, but, this depends on the size you need and if your trips ever vary from one type of jet to another.

Where Do You Travel?

The type of travel you do is even more important than the hours you spend in the sky, this is because frequent ‘one way’ flights mean you have to send the jet and crew back empty often. Or, international flights or very long flights may incur much higher maintenance and crew fees. If you stay in one location for a longer amount of time, then you also have to put the crew and pilots up with accommodation for the duration of your stay, which again, can add costs.

Maintenance and Other Fees Depend on Your Jet

Regardless of how often you use your jet, or the distance you use it for, you will always have maintenance and fixes to perform as well, because, like all things, even private jets break.

However, the maintenance costs vary greatly depending on your specific jet size and features, and the costs for maintenance and repairs vary depending on where you get them down and what specific breakdown you are dealing with.

Tire blowouts can cost between 2 and 3 thousand dollars to replace, parking in a hangar varies by every location, and aircraft insurance will fluctuate depending on the value of your jet and the amount of usage and locations frequently flown to – much like care insurance.

A midground expectation of operating costs usually falls between $500,000 and $1 million

For a fee, you can see cost breakdowns of specific jet brands and models here!

How Much Does It Cost to Charter a Private Jet?

Private flight can be extravagant, but the price doesn’t have to be! Even if we ignore the time you save at the airport in lines or waiting to take off, or how you can land closer to your final destination with the numerous private airports throughout the US, or even the benefit of being able to work while onboard and arrive less fatigued – flying privately has many other benefits that can be highly valuable for frequent flyers.

One of the most common questions we hear, and one of the first queries our new clients have for us, is “how much does it cost to charter a private jet?”

This is a great question as it can hugely depend, which is probably why there is so much confusion surrounding the subject. But Vault Aviation wants to be transparent, informative, and offer both quality and value. So, how much does it cost to charter a private jet? Let’s break down some of the factors and find out.

The Price Tag on Private Jets

Private jets are pricey, everyone knows that, with a Cessna CJ4 coming in at just under $10 million. And then there is the maintenance, repairs, depreciation, repositioning fees, and other factors that make outright ownership less-than-desirable for most.

But if you still want the flexibility, luxury, and ease of private flight, without all the hassle and cost, then private jet charters can be a great option. But many people don’t know what price range is even possible. Just like everyone knows that the cost of owning a private jet is high, almost no one knows the cost of chartering a private jet!

Some of this confusion is due to the vast differences in the length of the flight, size of the plane, amenities, dates, and more. But that doesn’t mean you have to go in blindly! Vault Aviation finds you the best jets at the best prices with the best amenities – every time.

The Cost of a Charter Flight on a Turboprop and Light Jet:

If you are planning on going to a big game, a special dinner, afternoon meeting, or another quick trip, then you will probably want to use a turboprop or a light jet.

This is one of the most economical choices, for example, if you want a weekend in the Hamptons on a smaller plane – then you could find a round trip private jet charter on a turboprop from New York for about $7,000.

If you want a jet instead a turboprop for your round trip, then the price for a light jet may go up to around $10,000.

Light jets are an affordable option for shorter trips, like LA to Las Vegas, or weekend getaways with a few friends, in fact, the above flight course would only take about an hour and get you and your additional passengers to Sin City and back for around $10,000 as well.

As a general rule of thumb, before taxes, turboprops and light jets cost about $3,000-5,500 per hour and can hold up to 7 passengers. So, this roughly comes out to under $1,000 per hour, per passenger.

The Cost of a Charter Flight on a Midsize Jet:

Now, let’s say you are looking for a longer flight, further destination, larger plane, or more passengers and luggage – what price should you expect then?

If you want to go from Seattle to New Orleans, then you’ll have a flight time of around 4 hours. For a round trip with 7 passengers on a midsize jet, you may be looking at a price near $35,000 – or $5,000 total per passenger, around $1,250 per person, per hour.

However, if you go an hour farther on a midsize jet, with 8 passengers, your total may move to $40,000, or around $1,000 per passenger, per hour.

This means that a round trip on a midsize jet that can hold up to 8 passengers will cost around $1,000-1,250 per person, per hour.

The Cost of a Charter Flight on a Super Midsize Jet:

If you are looking for an even longer flight (6 or 7 hours) on a larger plane, then you may be looking for a super midsize jet. This could be for an international flight (from Boston to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico) or across the United States from coast to coast.

Flights this long require larger jets in order to not need a stop for refueling – which costs more time and money. These longer flights can cost you from $65,000-75,000, or around $10,800-12,500 total per hour.

Most super midsize jets carry from 9 passengers, making these flights hover right around $1,200-1,500 per hour, per passenger.

The Cost of a Charter Flight on a Heavy Jet:

Long-haul flights are best handled by heavy jets as they are more comfortable and offer the additional perks of a bigger cabin, luxurious amenities, and flight attendants.

Something like a flight from Los Angeles to London for 12 passengers would cost around $135,000 ($11,250 per passenger). While New York to Shanghai, around 15 hours in-flight time, for 16 passengers could reach upwards of $175,000 (under $1,000 per passenger, per hour).

Heavy jets can carry from 10 to 20 passengers! Meaning the range in price per passenger, per hour, can range from $1,000 to $2,000.

With such a wide range, it is highly important for heavy jet rentals to be assisted by a well-connected private jet broker, like Vault Aviation. We have no contracts or deals with the jet owners or carriers, meaning we are only committed to finding you the best jet at the best price.

Private Jet Charter Costs Should Include:

  • Fuel for the distance you travel. These prices constantly change, so a surcharge is often added to make up the difference between the projected cost on your private jet charter quote, and the actual cost of flying.
  • Landing fees are calculated on the size and weight of your aircraft. These vary from airport to airport and go towards maintaining airport facilities, like a toll road.
  • On a return journey, ramp fees are charged when a plane is parked at an airport overnight or for other lengths of time.
  • Airport fees are charged for managing an aircraft on the ground by a Fixed Based Operator (FBO) or Aircraft Handling Company. This includes servicing the aircraft’s toilets, arranging fuel and passenger transport to and from the terminal, and rest facilities for the crew.
  • Other costs of multi-leg journeys can include overnight accommodation for private jet charter crew members and their taxis to and from the hotel to the airport during stop-overs.

Private Jet Charters VS. Ownership – Which Is Right for You?

Vault Aviation knows that private jet travel is the height of luxury, convenience, safety, and speed, getting you through the air faster (check out our blog on the fastest jets in production) and closer to your final destination all in one fell swoop. But then why not just buy a private jet if they are so wonderful?

Owning a private jet, either in full or fractional ownership, is actually a great choice for some, especially if you are an incredibly frequent flyer and have solid travel routines that do not require repositioning, multiple planes, or different sized jets.

Let’s go over when an On Demand private jet charter is the best choice, and when full or partial ownership may be what fits your needs the best.

When Does a Private Jet Charter Make Sense?

Vault Aviation thinks that On Demand private jet charters are the best option for most private flyers, after all, we wouldn’t be in business if we didn’t think this was a good idea – but we also recognize that a private jet charter might not be for every private flyer. And we think that’s what makes us the better choice – we’ll tell you the truth and tell you where the best deal is, even if it isn’t with us.

Luckily, for the average private flyer, an On Demand private jet charter is that best deal.

If you are like most private flyers, then a private jet charter gives you full flexibility with the power to change your jet depending on your preferences, group size, and destination. Plus, you don’t have to worry about initial costs or maintenance. Because a private jet is a depreciating asset, and with the large ticket price and expensive yearly maintenance costs, it isn’t a desirable option for the ‘average’ private flyer.

When Does Full Ownership Make Sense?

However, if you are not average and fly more than 500 hours a year, then full private jet ownership may be to your benefit, as there is a lower cost at high levels of use. But, then again, by fully owning only one private jet, you also have zero availability during maintenance periods and have to use the same jet for a 2-hour flight as you do for a 12+ hour flight (or groups of 2 VS 12).

When Does Fractional Ownership Make Sense?

A benefit of fractional ownership is that you share a private jet (or fleet), which means you share the cost of ownership, maintenance, and initial purchase. You can choose how many hours or ‘shares’ you have as well – like a timeshare, which can give you the flexibility that full ownership might lack.

But what you gain in flexibility you lose in…felxibility. If you are a partial owner, then there are other owners – and therein lies the largest problem with partial ownership – sharing.

Essentially, fractional jet ownership only works if everyone has a hard-set schedule that works perfectly with everyone else’s schedules.

On Demand Private Jet Charter Benefits

Private jet charters allow you to have as many planes at your disposal as you want without paying full costs, maintenance, or sharing them. With Vault, we can have you airborne in as little as two hours! And you can choose every aspect of your flight and customize it to match your needs or wants.

Need a heavy cabin jet for that cross-country flight with 12 of your team members? Need for you and your partner to be picked up from separate locations and meet at a third destination? Need a light private jet the next week for only you? We have access to all sizes, makes, and models, so we can get you where you want to be on the jet you want much faster than traditional air travel.

With Vault Aviation, you’ll never have to wait for maintenance, deal with black-out dates, or schedule months out because of sharing, as we have connections throughout the industry and can always find you a jet, even on the busiest of travel days!

Plus, private jet charters have the lowest cost for flyers between 50-500 hours a year – this covers the majority of private flyers.

Contact Vault Aviation to Learn More About Our Private Jet Charters

If you only fly under 50 hours a year, fractional ownership is probably a viable choice. Or if you fly over 500 hours a year, then owning a private jet might be worth the ticket price. But for anyone between 50 and 500 – a private jet charter is the answer!

Vault Aviation & Your Safety

While extraordinary pricing and the best customer care are how Vault Aviation provides value to our customers, safety is always our top priority. And not just during a pandemic, but every day on every flight. That’s why we use two audit systems, two pilots, and FAA approval for every private jet charter flight and aircraft we work with.

We run our business by the Platinum Rule: never put a client on a plane we wouldn’t board ourselves.

An Overview: Vault Aviation’s Safety Measures

  • Vault Aviation uses a select group of safety-audited operators who comply with ARGUS or Wyvern safety standards.
  • Vault only sources aircraft from FAR Part 135 Charter Operators.
  • We mandate that all of our operators carry a minimum of $50,000,000 in insurance and show no history of damage or irregular maintenance events.
  • All of our aircraft are flown by two highly qualified pilot crews.
  • Vault Aviation will never charter a plane with a single pilot – no exceptions.

What Is Aircraft Safety Auditing?

Vault Aviation only charters aircraft that have been audited by The Aviation Research Group US (ARGUS) and/or Wyvern.

ARGUS audits an operator’s maintenance records, flight history, insurance coverage, frequency of aircraft inspections, and their ability to exceed FAA standards. Other considerations include pilot training, flight hours, and pilot medical records.

We also reference Wyvern Safety Ratings as an additional layer of protection. Independent of ARGUS, Wyvern allows us to perform a secondary review of the operator, the aircraft, and the two pilots.

Argus Audits

ARGUS has a four-tier rating system:

  • (1) Does Not Qualify
  • (2) Gold
  • (3) Gold Plus
  • (4) Platinum

Prior to your flight, Vault Aviation will request an ARGUS TripCHEQ to ensure that the aircraft, crew, and trip meet all ARGUS standards – making sure that your trip is as safe as it is enjoyable!

Wyvern Audits

The Wyvern Pilot & Aircraft Safety Survey (PASS) report details everything from pilot hours to medical certifications. Here are some of the areas checked in a PASS report:

  • Verification that a charter operator holds a current Air Operating Certificate
  • Verification that the aircraft being chartered is listed on the air carrier’s Operations Specifications
  • Confirmation of current insurance for the aircraft
  • Confirmation that each crew member’s experience meets a specific safety standard
  • Confirmation that each crew member’s medical and license information is current
  • Confirmation that the operator has Civil Aviation Authority approval for international operations at chosen locations

More Than Just Safety Audits…

All of the private jet charters that Vault Aviation sources are piloted by 2 highly experienced pilots: a Pilot-In-Command (PIC) and Second-In-Command (SIC).

While ARGUS Ratings are important to us, we go a step beyond to ensure your safety and comfort!

Vault exclusively sources aircraft from FAA approved FAR Part 135 Charter Operators. FAR Part 135 is a set of federal laws governing everything from an aircraft’s airworthiness to record-keeping practices. The Charter Operators employ the pilots, handle the maintenance, and remain in operational control of the charter flights. Operational Control refers to the safe operation of an aircraft during a charter flight.

Vault maintains close relationships with the industry’s top charter operators. These relationships allow us to have preferential access to the safest aircraft available for charter, which is flown by the industry’s most experienced crews.

Travel Documents You Need for International Travel (Even When You Fly Private)

No doubt, there are substantial differences between flying on a commercial flight (even first or business class) and flying privately. But there are also some similarities – like what travel documents you need. This is because private flights do not get to skip immigration or customs, they merely streamline the process.

Seem confusing?

It can be difficult to know where the breaks are, and where you still have to follow the protocols you would on a commercial flight. And though the process of flying on a private jet charter is streamlined for a faster, more efficient and enjoyable trip, laws are still in place – especially for international travel.

Let’s take a look at exactly what you need, what you don’t need, and how your private flight will differ from the lines and limitations of a commercial flight.

Arrival & Wait Time Differences When You Fly Privately

Unlike flying commercial, if you are flying privately, you don’t have to waste your day by arriving hours and hours early just to wait in lines, in lobbies, or on the tarmac.

When you fly on a private jet charter, we will handle all of your flight times and scheduling, so you never have to deal with the hassle again.

Additionally, though all private airports differ, our normal timeline for arrival is only about 5-30 minutes before takeoff. Meaning you can literally board, sit, and takeoff.

We know that your time is valuable, which is why we make sure we never waste your time by making you wait. In fact, between all the time-saving aspects of flying privately, you can save multiple hours with each and every flight. And if you fly often, that time can quickly add up!

Required Travel Documents (Even When You Fly on a Private Jet Charter)

The short answer is that you still need all legally required travel documents when you fly privately. However, Vault Aviation can make it easier for you by helping you procure visas, not requiring physical tickets, and ensuring your passport is ready and renewed before takeoff.

Commercial flights and private jet charters have the exact same immigration laws and procedures because they are both still forms of international travel. And whether you own your own jet, charter a private jet, or are a fractional owner – you have to follow international, customs, and immigration laws.

The only true difference between private jet charters and commercial flights when it comes to visas and passports is the speed and convenience you gain by not having long lines of other passengers or flights to contend with.

Of course, only a photo ID is required when flying domestically, but international travel stays the same, requiring passports and visas (for countries where a visa is required).

Who Checks Your Required Travel Documents?

We will make sure you have everything you need before the flight, and we will also make sure that your flight team has all the needed documents – that means there won’t be any holdup on the runway, and no delays of your timeline.

Vault Aviation takes care of everything, so you never have to research or book anything on your own. That’s the beauty of a private jet charter – we make the entire process seamless, even ground transportation to and from your flight.

All you have to do is bring your documents and show up – running late? That’s okay too, just let your Vault Aviation team know and we’ll make sure your pilot has everything ready with air traffic control for your new arrival time.

Do you fly often? The Vault Aviation will make a manifest of your information so your next flight is even more streamlined than your first. Sometimes we can even pre-clear you, making your flight experience even faster, easier, and more enjoyable.

Your travel documents will be checked by the airport FBO (fixed-base operator) as well, but this process is much quicker than commercial airlines and public airports.

Does My Luggage Get Checked?

If you mean “will my bags be taken from me and placed below the aircraft so I have to wait for 30+ minutes to get them after arrival from a carousel” then no, your bags will not be checked. However, if you are wondering if your bags will still be scanned – yes, they will.

Just like visas and passports, no matter what form of air travel you use, scanning of bags is still required. This is because of both customs laws and safety requirements.

However, the difference between private and public flights is that the baggage-scanning process happens seamlessly and quickly on a private jet charter, and there are never any lines, waiting, or silly rules about water bottles, electronics, or food.

There are certain private flights from certain airports that allow a bypass of luggage scans, but there are still safety checks in place.

Does it Make Sense to Take a Private Jet Charter Every Time?

Private jet charters are special for some clients and an every-day occurrence for others. But this begs the question of when it truly makes sense to take a private jet charter over other forms of air transportation.

Of course, the numbers are a great place to start, and the numbers for a private jet charter over fractional or full ownership are compelling, to say the least:

  • Private Jet Charters – Best value for use between 0-500 hours per year
  • Fractional Ownership – Higher cost for use under 50 or over 150 hours per year
  • Full Ownership – Higher cost for use under 500 hours per year

But there are also specific reasons for travel that make a charter the best option. Let’s explore these and see when it makes the most sense to take a private jet charter.

Private Jet Charters for Business

Private jet charters are often used for business travel and trips, whether for a meeting, conference, or convention – it is a convenient way for your CEO, CFO, or founder to travel.

A private jet charter saves time, delivers flexibility, and a higher quality of service than first-class or business class, without having to deal with depreciation, maintenance costs, or owning only one plane like you would with fractional or full ownership.

However, one of the biggest reasons that corporate leaders and business professionals prefer to use our On Demand private jet charters is because of the image it projects. It shows success to your clients and competition and is a great way to reward you or your team’s hard work.

For Special Occasions

Honeymoons, anniversaries, reunions, birthdays, and more – nothing makes a special occasion that much more special than starting it off on a private jet charter. The occasion is meaningful – so your transportation should be too!

The luxury that a private jet charter provides cannot be matched even by the top commercial private suite – as they still have to cater to the others on the plane as well. But with a private jet charter, you are the only priority, and your event is the singular focus of your crew and your Vault Aviation team.

For your next special occasion, make it a memorable one with a private jet charter to your favorite city, a sentimental location, or a new and exciting surprise!

9 Benefits of the MAX Jet Card

We have talked about Jet Cards VS Full Ownership VS Charters before, but we haven’t ever spoken to the point of what makes a Vault Aviation MAX Jet Card more than just ‘another jet card’. But there are some serious benefits.

We saw a problem with the Private Jet Charter industry, not only in how it was run, but problems in how their reward programs or ‘jet cards’ were handled as well. So, just like we coined and improved On Demand Jet Charters, we also created an improved private jet card that gets you MAXimum flexibility, MAXimum security, and MAXimum value.

And we aptly dubbed it the MAX Jet Card. Learn more about the benefits exclusive to our Vault Aviation MAX Jet Card below.

Access to All Cabin Classes & All Aircraft

No more trying to fit 8 people on a 6-person jet because that’ll all that’s available. And no more having to use a Heavy for a trip that should be done with a more comfortable Midsize.

The MAX Jet Card guarantees that we will be able to get you the cabin class you want, the aircraft size you need, and all without the hassle of a multi-company runaround. Because Vault Aviation is full service, meaning we do it all – you merely need to show up.

Fixed Hourly Rate Maximums

Some of our clients think this sounds strange – after all, why would you want to have a set maximum? Because then there are no surprises. We have fixed hourly maxes, and we make sure you know exactly what they are.

This means you will only ever pay that amount or less, not the other way around. This also helps us guarantee you get the best rates, as we negotiate these maximums before you ever take off with the private jet owner or company.

No cost surprises, ever.

Free Cabin Class Upgrades When Available

Just because we get you the best rate, doesn’t mean you cannot have the best flight experience. In fact, whenever available, Vault Jet negotiates you to have a cabin class upgrade (if desired by the client) for free.

This means you will never have a jet that is less than you expected, and you will always be blown away by the cabin class you get, either by it meeting your original specifications, or by it going above and beyond.

Think of it as the inverse to our rate maximums – you’ll never get a higher price than you were expecting, and you’ll never get a lower cabin class than you were expecting. We think that’s the perfect mix.

Never Any Blackout Dates

Vault Aviation guarantees that we will never have ‘blackout dates’, after all, what’s the point of having the freedom and flexibility of a jet card if you cannot use your flights or funds when you want?

This was one of the largest issues we encountered with the Jet Card programs from other companies, and this is the largest issue we decided to fix.

Guaranteed Mechanical Recovery

If there is a mechanical issue – that isn’t your problem, it’s ours. And that means you will not be delayed or have your flight canceled due to mechanical issues or staffing. We will always find you another jet to get you where you need to be, when you need to be there.

One of the benefits of private jet charters over full or partial ownership is the fact that you don’t have to deal with mechanical issues – and we think Jet Cards should offer that same benefit.

Never Any Membership Fees

At Vault Aviation, we think membership fees are unfair, and we think our clients shouldn’t be treated unfairly. That means our MAX Jet Card will never have any hidden fees, yearly payments, or membership fees.

Instead, you merely load your card and use it. Sounds simple, doesn’t it? We don’t think Jet Cards need to be complex to be good.

Always Available, Guaranteed

Vault Aviation puts our clients first, which means we put communications with you first as well. If you need us, if you have a change or an issue or even just a question – we will be there to help.

The Vault Aviation team is a family, and we believe in treating our clients like family as well, that’s why we have the best reviews in the industry, and the best guarantees to back up our promises.

Your Funds Never Expire

Some Jet Cards make you use your funds in a certain time period – but your cash never expires, so why should it once it’s within your jet card account? We thought that sounded like a scam, and unlike many private jet charters, we don’t try to trap you into business with us. Instead, we treat you so well, we know you’ll come back.

That’s why we made your funds never expire on your MAX Jet Card because your money shouldn’t lose value just because it ages.

Your Balance in Your Account is Fully Refundable

Along the lines of ‘expiring funds’, another major issue in the Jet Card industry is that your funds are locked in, or held hostage, once you load them into your account or onto your card. Often, you aren’t allowed to withdraw your own funds, or, if the company lets you, the charge you a fee – for your own money!

Vault Aviation never charges fees, and never holds your money hostage on your MAX Jet Card. Instead, you can refund your balance at any time, add more, add less, or use it for other purposes.

That just made sense to us.

If refundable balances, no fees, guaranteed availability, and no blackout dates make sense to you as well, then maybe it’s time you ditch your old private jet charter company and try Vault Aviation and our MAX Jet Card program instead.
